Reference: SP-AFT-45 30-micron adhesive Aluminium Foil Tape
A soft Aluminium Foil tape coated with a long lasting, (ultraviolet) resistant acrylic adhesive on one side, and lined with a release paper to protect the adhesive face. This product has been tested to BS476 part 6 & 7 standards and meets class 1 and class 0 fire regulations.
It is mainly used to coat a plastic pipe before installation of the heating cable to help dissipate heat generated. It is also used to help affix heating cable to a tank or pipe.
