Temperature Controllers

The Ezeheat Smart-ECO air/surface sensing thermostat is designed to provide user friendly measurement and control for SOLCO PYROELEC heating cables. It is designed to provide cost effective and accurate ON/OFF control over trace heating circuits and fault monitoring and feedback via a BMS safety relay.The Ezeheat SP-MT-30 electro-mechanical temperature controller is designed to provide cost effective and value for money ON/OFF control over trace heating circuits. It is predominantly suited for the freeze protection applications.

The Solco Pyroelec Smart-ECO air/surface sensing thermostat has a 20Amp control relay switching the heating load and a 2Amp BMS fault alarm relay.

Air or surface sensing applications between -20 °C to +99 °C in non-hazardous areas.

The Smart-ECO thermostat is supplied with an NTC thermistor type sensor probe. This has a 3m long cable giving freedom to locate the electronics remote from the sensor.

Up to 4 diagnosed alarm types: Sensor short/open circuit error, Load relay error, Voltage error and high/low temperature limits exceeded error.

The unit is designed to work easily with SOLCO PYROELEC heating cable termination kits.

The SP-2JB is a professional quality M25 sized tubular junction box designed to easily accommodate power and/or heating cable entry and connection. It is supplied complete with an internal terminal with easy identification of correct wiring orientation. There are enough terminals for 1 x power to1 x heater circuits connection OR 1 x heater circuit to 1 x heater circuit (splice) connection.

The enclosure is made from tough weatherproof PA66 / TPE which generally has better environmental (UV) resistance than ABS and allows for easy insertion of wiring.

Typical application/use is to connect POWER to or SPLICE a heater circuit.

The SP-HPEK is a heat shrink power and end termination kit including an M25 gland for termination and entry of Solco Pyroelec heating cables into thermostats/controllers and junction boxes

The SP-CPEK is a ‘cold’ silicon rubber boot power and end termination kit including an M25 gland for termination and entry of Solco Pyroelec heating cables into thermostats/ controllers and junction boxes.

PIPE OR WALL MOUNTED BRACKET

304 stainless steel bracket kit used to fix to a pipe using a quick release band. The kit includes a steel nut and bolt (2 types are provided) to screw both parts (plate and leg upstand) together. The bracket is to be used to mount Solco Pyroelec controllers and accessories onto a horizontal or vertical pipe. Additional nuts and bolts for the mounted products are provided in the kit also.

SP-GCT-50Glass Fibre Cloth Tape, Class H

A glass cloth tape coated with a high-performance silicone adhesive. It is tough, abrasion resistant and has excellent mechanical and electrical insulating properties.

It is mainly used to fix the installation of the heating cable, at 300mm centres, to a pipe.

SP-AFT-45 30-micron adhesive Aluminium Foil Tape

A soft Aluminium Foil tape coated with a long lasting, (ultraviolet) resistant acrylic adhesive on one side, and lined with a release paper to protect the adhesive face. This product has been tested to BS476 part 6 & 7 standards and meets class 1 and class 0 fire regulations.

It is mainly used to coat a plastic pipe before installation of the heating cable to help dissipate heat generated. It is also used to help affix heating cable to a tank or pipe.
